Local Processing & Storage
All photos you upload to 4kFrame are stored directly on the internal storage of the Android TV or Tablet running the app.
- No Cloud Storage: Your photos are never uploaded to our servers or any third-party cloud service.
- Local Network Only: The administration interface and photo upload service operate exclusively within your local Wi-Fi or Ethernet network.
- Offline Capability: Once photos are uploaded, 4kFrame can operate entirely without an internet connection.
Information Collection
4kFrame does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information.
- No Personal Data: We do not collect names, email addresses, or phone numbers.
- No Usage Tracking: We do not use analytics, cookies, or trackers to monitor how you use the app.
- No Third-Party Sharing: Since no data is collected, none is shared with advertisers or third parties.
App Permissions
4kFrame requires the following permissions to function:
- Storage: Used to save and retrieve the photos you upload to the frame.
- Internet/Network: Used to run the local web server that allows you to upload photos from your phone or computer browser.
Local Security
Because 4kFrame runs a local web server, anyone on your local Wi-Fi network who knows the IP address of the frame may be able to view, upload, or delete photos. We recommend using 4kFrame on a secure, private home network.
