Raspberry Pi support is still work in progress. We recommend using Android devices while we complete development and testing.
TargetR can already be used on Raspberry Pi by starting a web browser and using the standard TargetR WebPlayer. However, as you may have experienced, the Raspberry Pi struggles rendering large images and can not play video in the browser.
We have a player that uses omxplayer and fbi controlled by a python script enabling full 1080p image and video playback. The Hybrid player is an interim solution while we work on QtPlayer. The Python hybrid player can be linked to an account shortcut or a channel shortcut but not an installation shortcut. The player does not display QR Codes, perform synchronisation or report display counts.
